ここでは実践英会話（IELTSスピーキングにも）に役立つ接続詞/句をまとめました。
シンプルで自然に接続詞を使うことで、あなたの話がよりスムーズにわかりやすく、さらにスピーキングで重要な長い文章を簡単に作ることができます。各項目は自然に表現できるようにしておきましょう。

情報を追加するとき

～ and …（～と…）
- I watched a movie and ate dinner with her on that night.　（その夜に彼女と映画を観て、夕食を食べました。）
besides ～（そのうえ～）
- I have some meetings, besides, I have to make a speech.　（いくつかミーティングもあるし、その上、スピーチもしないといけない。）
(and) moreover ～（さらに～）
- Finally they were found, and moreover, all of them were alive.　（ついに彼らは見つけられ、そしてさらに、全員が生きていた。）
in addition（さらに～）/ in addition to 名詞（名詞に加え）
- In addition to this matter, one more problem might be happened.　（この問題に加え、もう1つ問題が発生するかもしれない。）
(and) then ～（それから～）
- Please fill up this application form and then submit it to me.　（この申し込み用紙に記入し、私に提出してください。）

but ～（しかし～/けど～）
- I’m tired but it was fun.　（疲れたけど楽しかった。）
on the other hand ～（一方では～）
- Some say nuclear power is risky technology, on the other hand, it is becoming essential energy for us nowadays.　（原子力は危険な技術であると言う人もいますが、一方で、今日では原子力は私たちにとって不可欠なエネルギーになりつつあります。）
although ～（～にもかかわらず）
- Although it was raining, he went out.　（雨が降っていたのにもかかわらず、彼は出かけました。）
～ though（～だけど）
- I don’t like Natto, I’m a Japanes, though.　（私は納豆が嫌いです、日本人ですが。）
while ～（一方で～）
- He is a hard worker while he is also a family man.　（彼は働き者だが、一方で家庭的な人だ。）
～ whereas …（～に反して…）
- He is mature, whereas his older brother was childish.　（彼は大人びていますが、それに反して兄は幼稚でした。）

～ or …（～もしくは…）
- I would give it away to someone or throw away.　（私なら誰かにあげるか、もしくは捨てます。）
～ otherwise …（～でなければ…）
- Hurry up, otherwise we won’t get there in time.　（急いで、でないと間に合いません。）
